Despite his spectacular loss of form over the past couple of years, Tiger Woods remains the biggest name in golf and punters are eager to follow the fortunes of the former world number 1 in 2012. Woods has not won a Major Championship since 2008, while he has not picked up any tournament win for over two years but he is still be well backed to add to his 14 Majors in 2012 with William Hill rating Woods as a 4/1 shot to win exactly one Major next season. At his best Tiger Woods was virtually unbeatable in the big tournaments but his air of invincibility is no longer there as he has dropped outside the worlds top 50 recently, that would have been unthinkable a couple of years ago but he now faces a mammoth task to rejoin the games elite players. Woods has consistently struggled to put together four successive good rounds when it matters and his drought will continue if he fails to rectify that problem quickly. 2012 will be a massive year for Tiger as he bids to climb back up the world rankings but punters wanting to back him to continue his slump can get a price of 1/6 with William Hill about winning exactly no Majors next year. Tiger does appear to have been free from injury for a little while now and that will stand him in good stead as we head into 2012 and towards the Masters at Augusta in April.
