The new golf season is now well underway which means attention is slowly beginning to turn towards the US Masters at Augusta at the start of April. The first Major of the season is always a massive event and all the players are preparing their schedules before heading to Georgia for a tilt at the fmous Green Jacket. All eyes remain on Tiger Woods who despite falling down the rankings over the past couple of years is still the favourite to win his 15th Major and his fourth Masters Green Jacket in 2012. Woods has shown one or two signs of a return to form recently and with an injury free off season he is the current 4/1 favourite with Ladbrokes to win his first Major Championship since 2008. Augusta is like a second home for the former world number one and although he does have every chance, there does look to be a little more value to be found further down the market. Rory McIlroy hit the big time in 2011 with his win in the US Open and most experts believe it is only matter of time before he is putting on the Green Jacket, his game suits Augusta and the man from Northern Ireland is available at 8/1 with Ladbrokes .
