Bayern also topped their group ahead of Napoli and Manchester City and lost just their final game in Manchester after they’d already secured top spot in the group. They’re also unbeaten in their last five matches and have kept four clean sheets. This game should still be close as Basel are unbeaten since October, but have drawn all three competitive matches since beating Manchester United to secure their place in the last 16 of the Champions League

This weekend sees the 23 rd round of La Liga football for this season and the big game of the weekend sees Barcelona welcome Valencia to the Nou Camp for the second time in ten days and a Valencia win will see them close to within five points of the champions. Our thoughts and our La Liga Odds are here! Real Madrid v Racing Santander: 1.09 – 10.00 – 23.00 Real Madrid are in cruise control at the moment as they lead Barcelona by ten points at the top of the league and as they have not lost at home to Santander since 2005 we’ve made them the massive favourites to win this match. They should do so quite easily in this match as they’ve won 15 of 17 home matches in all competitions this season, with only Barcelona beating them, and they’ve scored 67 goals in those games. Santander are in the bottom three and have won just one of 12 away games this season, so a home win is nailed on here. While you won’t make millions betting on Real just to win the match, we have found some value. Cristiano Ronaldo has 27 goals to his name in the league this season and as he’s scored just six of those as the first goal of the game, we like him to grab the last goal of the game @ 2.78. We also see plenty more goals in this match and +3.5 goals can be backed @ 1.65 and +4.5 @ 2.48.
